The United Nations' 12th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) targets «responsible consumption and production» by reducing the ecological footprint of products and services. Scientifically valid life cycle based information is crucial to the successful implementation of sustainability strategies. The Advanced Life Cycle Assessment module focuses on the application of advanced life cycle assessment (LCA) methods and the implementation of ecodesign principles that contribute to the 12th UN SDG. The module enables participants to work with life cycle based data and transfer insights from applied science to industry and society. Students will learn how to identify, develop and assess effective sustainability practices.
